We collect information that you provide directly to us when you register for an account, build a strategy, or use our AI agent.
- Account Data: Email address, name, and encrypted authentication tokens.
- Usage Data: Trading strategy configurations, backtest results, and chat history with the Orbit AI agent.
- Device Data: IP address, browser type, and diagnostic data (via Sentry for crash reporting).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Stratos platform and ATLAS engine.
- Process your natural language inputs to build strategies using the Orbit AI agent.
- Send you technical notices, security alerts, and support messages.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities.
3. Third-Party Services
To provide our core functionalities, we securely integrate with specialized third-party service providers:
- Supabase: Our database and authentication provider. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
- Google Gemini & OpenAI: Used to power the Orbit AI agent. Your chat inputs are sent to these providers exclusively for generating responses and summarizing context. We do not permit these providers to use your prompts to train their models.
- Alpaca Markets: Used to fetch historical price data for backtesting. No personal identifying information is sent to Alpaca.
- Resend: Used for transactional email delivery.
- Sentry: Used for application performance monitoring and error tracking.
4. Data Retention
We retain personal information we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with a service you have requested). When you delete your account, we securely delete or anonymize your personal information, including your saved strategies and backtest histories.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
We use standard caching mechanisms, including browser Local Storage, to store session tokens for authentication and to maintain the state of your UI preferences (like the Orbit chat widget draft state). We do not use third-party tracking cookies for targeted advertising.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information. You can do this at any time by logging into your account settings or by contacting us. Users in certain jurisdictions may have additional rights under local privacy laws, such as requesting a downloadable export of their data.
7. Security Measures
We have implemented robust technical and organizational security measures to protect your data, including Row-Level Security (RLS) in our database, JWT-based authentication flows, and TLS encryption for Data in Transit. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
